Bad, bad blogger!

I’ve been a bad blogger, I know. Believe me; I’ve wanted to update. Really. Truly. However, I also know that as soon as I write something down I’ll spend at least as much time editing and getting the layout just the way I want it, spending at least an hour in front of the screen for something that could’ve taken ten minutes…

Afijn (”well” somehow doesn’t do this derivative from French “enfin” justice), I hereby solemnly promise to do better. please support me by commenting so I know I’m not just typing away for the cat’s private bits here. I’ve made Firefox my default browser now, so I hope my previous problems with publishing will remain previous.

First small update: a quote from Collins’ blog. He wrote something very funny about my BF: “..one of them is so into “breien” that she even got herself a boyfriend with that name.” Something I never noticed until Kees pointed it out to me..

Second update: the BF and I went to Paris for a few days during the “voorjaarsvakantie” (spring break). I finished this ribbed beanie cap with a French twist just in time. It’s made from “Manos del Uruguay” 100% wool, in the most masculine colour (that wasn’t a solid grey, blue or black) I could find.

I also finished my Rogue Hoodie: started in November and now officially my favourite sweater / jumper. Snug, well-fitted, good cabling, big hood to keep my neck warm; this one has it all. Spring has been late, so I’ve already had a good few weeks’ wear out of it.

I have one more deadline before the next exam period, so I may be a bit silent again for the coming 1.5 week, but there’ll be more updates after that. Pinkie swear.
